About me
My name is Salli Marianna Qvottrup Villefrance. I was born in '88 in central Jutland and on a daily basis I live on Teglholmen in Copenhagen with my husband Henrik and our little dog Nellie.
On a daily basis, I work as Nordic Consumer Engagement Manager for Clinique and Origins, where I am responsible for all PR, influencer collaborations and social media in the Nordics for the two exciting brands.
In the past, I have worked for beauty brands like Urban Decay, Kiehl’s and Benefit Cosmetics.
I have gradually gathered myself 15 years of experience in the beauty industry and all my life I have to some extent been involved in the beauty industry – as a model, blogger, make-up artist and the recent years of PR and marketing.

I'M SALLI is my personal sanctuary. Here, all topics in the field of beauty are nerdy.
I am in my element, when I may be allowed to serve the little 'geeky' issues in a more palatable version. For me, beauty is not necessarily to be expensive, but it must be efficient and caring - even in the long run. It is therefore natural for me to address the relationship between ingredients and effect.
On I'M SALLI gets no trivialities of everyday life. Instead there will be considered in depth the beauty, so both the "ordinary" woman and makeup artist can find inspiration, they will not find elsewhere.
Beauty and makeup
My first model job was a tøjreklame for Føtex, when I was three years old. My modeling career was until 2004 mostly for fun, but when I stopped elite rider was my main focus.
In my modeling jobs with my regular customers and photographers was fast known, I was good at putting my own makeup. With the time it became, I even put my makeup on much, of the shoots I was booked for. The photographers and my model book began next book me as a makeup artist for shoots with other models.
My passion for beauty began before I started school. When I was 5 year my mother started to read to the beautician and I remember, how I spent hours observing, how she put her makeup in the morning or before she was out. Especially her high cheekbones and her red lipstick I remember, I was particularly fascinated by.
On my mother's beautician she borrowed often makeup how-to videos at home (oh yes, old school VHS tapes!) and in early school years, I remember, how I often sat and watched them, when I came home from school. Even then I learned why how to transform one-day makeup for an evening makeup - there were some who said beauty geek? The curiosity about makeup techniques and skin care, as I then established, have happily followed me ever since.
Today it means, I have a passionate, but critical access to makeup, skin- and hair care. I like fingers in most, he på beautymarkedet, but why do I still have some friends who have stayed at in many years. I also, the price and quality go together, but it is still not always the most expensive, which is the best.
Healthy in soul, healthy in body
I am a trained yoga instructor in Hatha yoga at Senses in Copenhagen. Yoga has always meant something special to me. Both as a child and in my teens, where yoga and karate and was a physical and mental supplement to my riding career and also in my adulthood, where it gives me a peace and wellbeing I can not find in any other. I find it especially delicious in combination with run. Hatha, yin and hotyoga is my clear favorites. Meditation is an indispensable part of the, and mindfulness cultivates I on a daily basis. I am of the clear conviction, that a healthy mind gives a healthy body - and also on a deeper level than the hyped truism "about that you should just think positive".
