3 hair products, that saves you from flat, greasy and dull hair – tested and approved!

I am always on an eternal search for the next amazing volume product. That product, which is the answer to all my voluminous hard dreams. Therefore, you can be sure, that if I see anything, it says ‘volume’ on, I buy it flux to test it out. That's why I've been through most of the beauty shelves lately, and I show here three favorites, which I have spent a long time and keep coming back to.

What I am always looking for is a volume product, which provides fullness and light hold – especially in the hair roots, so it gives a good lift to the scalp. But it must not greasy or stiffen the hair. And that's exactly what you get with these 3 products, which I have tested, used and approved.

Redken Volume Guts 10

Volume Guts 10 from Redken is a volume-giving spray mousse, which nourishes the hair well with fullness. What I think, which is especially amazing at Volume Guts 10 is, that it gives hold without stiffening the hair. Thus, you can not really feel, that you have styling product in.

Volume Guts 10 protects against humidity and provides, that the hair does not get frizzy. The spray mousse adds lots of volume to the hair, where desired, so you can control yourself, where you want more volume. I always give it a little extra on the back of my head to get an extra lift.

For maximum volume, use Redken Volume Guts in towel-dried hair. Apply the foam at the hair roots for a clean volume boost or throughout the hair for even more fullness. Or both for maximum volume. Finally blow dry the hair and make sure, that it will be completely dry. You can also apply Volume Guts 10 in dry hair, if you want to boost your volume in the days after hair washing.

Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder Hårpudder

Pret-a-Powder is a transparent powder, which are equal parts dry shampoo and hair powder. It gives a delicious volume, and provides, that the hair does not look greasy. It is applied to dry hair e.g.. directly after blow drying with Redken Volume Guts 10. To use Pret-a-Powder, shake the bottle slightly, and then press it with “the top” facing upwards. That way, a light layer of powder will come out, which is distributed in the hair. Lift the hair up into sections, where you want volume and give a light “pust” (it is VERY expensive!) and massage it into the scalp to create instant lift. .

Nioxin Niospray Strong Hold

Nioxin is a hair brand, which specializes in making hair products, which creates volume and fullness in hair – also in hair that otherwise does not have it at all. So if you have very fine hair, I would recommend you to take a closer look at Nioxin, as they make a lot of great products to tackle hair loss and thin hair. I have at times struggled a lot with extreme felling, and Nioxin has helped me a lot.

A product that I keep using, is their hairspray, Niospray. It has a technology, which simply expands the diameter of the hair shaft, so the hair looks fuller and feels stronger. You can get it with medium hold and strong hold, so it's up to you, what you want of effect. It is a really good hair spray, which gives an extra volume boost to fine hair.
