Review of Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette

On Friday launchede Huda Beauty with the opening of the post office Sephora (read about it in the previous post). There were long queues, and people waited for hours to swatche and buy the hyped products: eyeshadow palette, highlighterpaletterne, eyelashes and liquid lipsticks. However, Huda and especially Rose Gold palette live up to the hype? Among my colleagues, there are mixed views.

Some consider Rose Gold palette as makeup pens response to the Holy Grail, while others do not like it. The same with the liquid lipsticks. On the other hand, there is broad agreement on the artificial eyelashes – they are beautiful and very comfortable to wear even in long hours. Eyeshadow Palette I can reveal is quite expensive, so is it worth the money and it lives up to the hype? Tjaa, judge for yourself…

Rose gold paletten:

When I at one time so the palette first time was my first thought, that it is smaller than I had expected, and when I bought it in Paris a few weeks ago it struck me again. It measures about. 18×10 cm and for some reason I had imagined it bigger. The first colors, that jumped out at me was the Flamingo and Maneater. I love the shades, and especially for green and blue eyes, I think they are particularly attractive.

The general criticism of the palette goes to either the matte eye shadows or metallic. Those who do not like the matte eye shadows seem they are dry and limed. Those who do not like the metallic do not they provide a nice effect. Personally I really like the 10 matte shades, the blender as a dream with a fluffy brush as e.g. Zoevas 228 Luxe Crease.

From 6 metallic shades, as claimed in Huda even be applied with the fingers, I think in return is a little harder to get to work quite well. Maybe it's a matter of practice, maybe they are just not me. I have not given up on them yet. De to perlemors skygger (Angelic og Moon Dust) I think that is super delicious and creamy.

My main complaint with the palette is packaging. So, I've just never been a fan of it to paper / cardboard-like material, both Huda Beauty and Anastasia Beverly Hills doing their palettes. I think it works cheaply, and it looks fast worn and trashy out, and I have just not really the leaking Rights sense of the. It's just not good enough to make up for the price range! Rose Gold palette does not even have a mirror, Despite the cost of the good side of 500 kr. I think personally is a joke.

I've actually had divided feelings about this palette. Overall I would say, the palette is delicious. First of all really good eye shadows in beautiful colors. And that's it, it's all about. You can create as many varied looks, and therefore the good, if you do not already have a wealth of eye shadows at home, or you lack the bordeaux, wine red and maroon hues in your collection.

If however you already have Anastasias Modern Renaissance, I will consider, at Huda Beauty’s Rose gold palette er mere nice to have end need to have. Nuances reminds a lot about each other, and in my opinion your money will then be better spent on a palette from another brand like Too Faced or Kat von D, also make good kvalitetspaletter – to far fewer crowns!
