What really BALAYAGE?
Balayage has the past year been the big buzzword, When it comes to beauty area. Any hairdresser has seen a plethora of requests for BALAYAGE. But what is it really BALAYAGE is? I will elaborate for you here.
Balayage is French and means' ironing’ or 'sweep'. Balayage is a form of stripes made with freehand in large sections of hair. The technique gives you an exclusive, sun-kissed look.
When I get BALAYAGE is the hairdresser a section of my hair on such a small board, where there is' painted’ high up the sides and closest to the bottom. The technique can also be created in the air or with a table as subject to.
Depending on hair color product, as the hairdresser uses, sections must be wrapped in foil. Are used e.g.. Wella Blondor Free Lights needed, however, no wrapping, when the product is designed, so it is not 'rub off'. Therefore, the hair will just hang until the pull time is up.

In the picture below I sit with the color of my first BALAYAGE, as Anette actually made me. I had by then been refreshed my natural dark brown hair with Wella Magma, and then the power with Wella Blondor Free Lights. Note sections, which the hair is in the stratified with the color. This is the technique, which is so important, to achieve the beautiful play of colors.
When bleaching was washed out, I got a gloss (toning) on top. Glossen offers a nice shine and a nicer color transition. In my case, it must also dampen a bit of the warm glow, making it a gloss of a cold hue, I get laid on top..
In the other picture is the final result with a refresher of my natural base color, affarvning med balayageteknikken, gloss, cut and styling.
Balayage can be made in many flavors, both in terms of color and the powerful effect you want. Because it can be used for all hairstyles, lengths and types of hair, it is a suitable color technique for any woman.
Personally, I especially much of the technique, it allows me, getting plenty of highlights and play in my hair, without I look 'washed out’ or pale, when I still dark closest to my face and my eyes.
Da du (most often) keep your natural hair color as base color, so it requires very little in terms of color maintenance. It is basically up to you, when you want to be dyed again, because there will be a visible kit growth, as there is with helfarve or other forms of highlights. However, this requires, that you care for your tips, for they are particularly vulnerable, when they are as strongly bleached, so remember to care with a good hair treatment ca. once a week. I'm glad most masks from Kerastase, whose products for every hair type.
