Tontouring: contouring with bronze self tanners
Did you know, to self-tanning is not only an indispensable friend to put some speed on summer glow and help you smooth out annoying sun rays? It can also give you an easy slimming effect, when you place it strategically on the body. So a bit like when you shape your face with bronzer. What’s not to like? Read my top tips for tontouring here!
This week I at Luxmagazine written about my best self tanning tips and one of my favorite self-tanning brands, namely organic, perfume- og parabenefri Vita Liberata. I love self tanning to give myself a little boost, especially here in early summer, but also to give a delicious glow throughout the summer without the risk of eventually acquiring my dermis and skin cancer. I use self-tanner for tontouring, which strategically highlights my curves in the best way.
I article for Luxmagazine I'll give you a guide with those 8 best advice for a natural, shields- and streak-free, nobody-will-guess-that-is-fake tan tan, and I think of course right, you must check out, to get started.

However, I also just want to share the self-tanning trick, which I myself use before photoshoots, especially when I as a model have made swimwear catalogs and the like.

In recent years, there has been a huge wave of facial contour. That is, where we work with light (highlighter) and shade (mat bronzer) to highlight the cheekbones, making the nose narrower, camouflaging double chin M. M.
contour there, when you have practiced a little, really nice to highlight one's best facial features. But why stop here? It's easier than you think, to camouflage dents on the thighs or make yourself appear a little more toned, than you really are. The technique is called tone ringing (contouring with selftanner = tonturring). Tontouring is actually a bit a la dieting on spray can 😉
I myself do tontour by using a distributor glove and then apply the self-tanner more generously or maybe even a darker shade on the inside- and outer thighs, the back of and the front of the upper arms, the cavalry passage and elsewhere, which I would like to ‘do less’ or lift with an optical shadow – just like when you make your cheekbones pop by placing the bronzer just below them.

When years ago I experimented a lot with body contouring with self-tanners, I had not seen coming, that tontour would become that trend, As it is now – who has probably been helped along the way by the Kardashian / Jenner girls, which undeniably has a huge influence on the beauty trends, which is in focus at the moment. Just think of the matte lips, the narrow waist and yes, contouring, which has made both Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner beauty icons worldwide.
I does not represent myself as decidedly ecologist, but I am then eco-conscious far down the road, so when the organic beauty products far exceed the non-organic quality as is the case with Vita Liberata, so there is not the slightest doubt, what I choose on the shelf.
That's why it really surprises me, that I was so late in joining the Vita Liberata team, but when I I snuck over there, there was no way back. That which held me most, was probably the price difference between the Vita Liberata and the self-tanners I usually used.
For yes. Vita Liberata is at the expensive end of the self-tanning category, and I was not prepared for, how much more beautiful a tan Vita Liberata would give me.
But you can read a lot more about that here – and then I MUST also just tip you about the pork prices Luxplus right now have on Vita Liberata. For when a self-tanner from Vita Liberata, which usually costs 250,- are down 69,-, and there is even free shipping, then I see it as a civic duty to pass on the word. So it is hereby made, værs'go’ 🙂
